Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky brown color with a medium size creamy tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very assertive dry spices - clove, cinnamon and cardamom. The flavor was intensely spicy and overwhelms with just a hint of bread underneath. Very long spicy finish. Medium body. Spices overwhelm and start to distract quickly. Ok.

Bottle shared at the DC Local tasting. Bomber pours a translucent amber brown with a cloudy, dusty, slightly eggshell head. Heavy spice aroma, cloves, nutmeg, ginger with the sweetness of fall root vegetables, some orange too. Flavor is more spice, all spice, cloves, brown sugar, toast, oranges. Dry finish. No alcohol presence.

22 ounce bottle from Wine & Beer Westpark. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a thin head. Aroma is big spices including ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon along with a little butterscotch and caramel. Taste is butterscotch with mild spiced and a faintly tart note. Medium bodied.

22 oz bottle. Pours a medium dark orange color with a small white head. Aroma is holiday spices, caramel. Flavor is again, holiday spices, though as others have said, it has characteristics of a pumpkin beer. Not a bad entry in a category that usually sees very mediocre beers.
