Our new Spring I.P.A. was brewed using generous quantities of flaked rye, Amarillo, Columbus, Ahtanum and Centennial hops. Red in color, nice malt middle with a floral hop finish. This ale has been left unfiltered to retain more of the hop aroma and full body contributed by the rye malt.

On tap at the brewpub on 04/25/2009. Slightly hazy amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet citrus and floral hop aroma with a touch of fruitiness and light rye. Sweet floral and citrus flavor, spicy rye, and a bit of caramel. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Very fresh growler from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy bronze color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Fresh hop aroma with lots of pineapple, citrus and stone fruits. There is a fair amount of caramel malts in there as well. Taste is predominantly rye with citrus and resiny hop notes. Light bitter chocolate notes. Dry and bitter. Medium bodied. A very subtle cheesy/soapy note. One of the better brews they’ve come out with lately.
