Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold and mostly clear. Okay, maybe a slight haze. Small foamy white head. Lots of lacing. Unassuming aroma of citrus, mainly pink grapefruit. Taste is summat else altogether. Sweet and laden with grapefruity hop, turning bitter tight at the end. Fabulous. Smooth body, soft to no carbonation. Did not expect this from Milestone, who are solid but rarely as exceptional as this.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours cloudy dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is orange, straw, citrus, stone fruits, light herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Bitter citric finish. Didn’t look great but was okay.

Gravity Cask at Shivering Sands Manston, Thanet Easter Brewery Tour Beer Festival '24, 30/03/24. Golden orange topped with a white head. Nose is juicy citric flesh, mango, melon, orange zest, soft malts. Taste comprises mixed tropical fruit esters, grass, papaya, mandarin, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. A nice surprise from this brewer ... tidy juicy cask ale.
