Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 12th March 2025. Copper with shallow off-white foam affording full lacing. Subtle maltiness in aroma. Malty and zesty in-mouth, and a bitter finish with hints of smoke. Light bodied with a velvet smooth mouthfeel. A fine, well crafted ale.

Cask at the Chappel Beer Festival with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is malty, citrus, caramel, biscuit and bready. Moderate to thin body and ow carbonation.

6/9/2024. Cask at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, bready, biscuit, dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. It’s fine.
