A clear amber beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Nice malt base, biscuit and light malt cream and a pleasing darkish toffee streak that is not sweet. Hops bring soft pine and soft dark berries into slightly ripe orchard fruits. Comes together very well into a light finish. Bishop Nick do these bitters and pale ales so very well. If they ever turn their considerable talents to modern craft beer styles, look out!
