Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 31/10/23. Pitch black with a tan cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, hazelnut, hint of vanilla, light roast. Taste comprises dark chocolate, spice, mellow roast, nutty, dried fruit rinds, faint coffee, brown sugar dusting, light vanilla. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Nose is dark malts, fruit cake mix, coffee bean, spice, mellow roast, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate, charr, coffee grinds, spice, dark malts, light fruit tang. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of booze. Decent if perhaps lacking a touch of finesse.
