Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol 12/9/2015. Dark, reddish brown with a decent, off-white, head. Dark, berry, fruits, some roasted malts and a touch of caramel sweetness before a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Beer Emporium - Bristol. Pours lightly hazy reddish brown with a creamy off-white head. The nose has some lightly toasted grains, dried berries, light dirty leaves. Light-medium sweet flavor with further leafy hops, old leathery berries, grainy brown bread, faint toffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, with further toasted grains, mellow toffee, dried berries, mild bitter earth and leaves. So so overall.
