Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Golden with a small head and a solid pale texture and taste, also at a very manageable strength.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers!]. Opalescent, orange golden colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal-spicy, leafy and fruity hoppy aroma, biscuity and spicy, pale malty background, hints of speculoos, gooseberry, a touch of kiwi fruit, whiffs of woodruff. Taste is fruity, and herbal-spicy hoppy, biscuity and minimally spicy, pale malty with subtle residual sweetness, hints of speculoos, some woodruff, gooseberry, a touch of mint and kiwi fruit. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, soft carbonation. Balanced, harmonious, refreshing - deserves way more attention.

18/9/2020. Cask at the Duke of York, Ipswich. Attractive beer, clear darkish gold with a bubbly white head, leaving nice lacing down the side of the Mauldons branded glass. Aroma is fresh, hoppy, citrusy and floral, with a touch of biscuit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Sweeter fruity finish. Pretty decent brew.
