Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A mostly clear copper amber coloured pour with a small halo of dirty head. Aroma is dirty nutty malts,. twigs, strawberry jam, earthy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, earthy nutty grains, rustic, brown bread. Palate is semi sweet, little thin, lowish carbonation. Fine.

This is the beer that pushes me into Ratebeers top 10 raters ... dunno how long that will last but nice to have been there along with the other awkward OCD number crunchers! Deep amber with an off white head that veers edgeward. Nose is nutty, biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugars. Taste comprises sweet malts, dried fruits, biscuit, toffee, brown sugar scattering. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. A little thin and wanting overall. Time for a decent whisky to sign off the weak end!

21/4/2021. Cask sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, biscuit, nut, fruit loaf. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Easy drinker.

Cask: Poured a deep brown with a bubble tan head. Aroma is caramel, malty. Taste is caramel, sweet malts, biscuit, nutty.
