Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 29/01/21. Black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is cocoa powder, tangy dried fruits, hint of orange peel, dark malts. Taste comprises milk chocolate, toffee, mellow roast, hint of orange peel, brown sugar sprinkle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout ... has a nice chocolate profile in the flavour.

31/1/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours black with a short lasting frothy beige head. Aroma of cocoa, milk chocolate orange, roasted malt, touch of coffee and Cointreau. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Chocolate orange develops nicely, improved the finish.

Black beer, head is initially really thick but soon thins out. Smells of bittersweet orange and chocolate. I like the balance of the flavour. The orange is, again, slightly bitter on too of rich malt and some dark chocolate so it isn't sickly bit still has the flavours you expect from the description. Nice body to it too, with the orange flavour lingering.
