Flaske (batch 119) fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: futt i åpningen, og jeg regner med højt skum og brusende munnfølelse - og det viser seg å stemme. En smule overkarbonert, med andre ord. Skummet svinner raskt, og aroma og smak er preget av overmoden citrusfrukt og en snerpende, besk følelse. Ufrisk, tynn og kort. Ingen nordnorsk sjarme her - dette var dårlige greier og slett ikke et jubileum verdig, selv om smaken bedrer seg litt nedover i glasset.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Bådin Bodø 2016 ].[ Courtesy of Rune ]. Unclear matt medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, tangarin, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, orange, pale malt. KRS 140516. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, malt, citrus. Flavour is citrus, malt, yeast, grass, bread, fruit. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

0.33l bottle from #0086. Not much of a head on this one really. Only a sidesticking just off-white top over a cloudy peach orange colored, quite good looking body. Smells old and earthy. Not very fresh or inviting really. Some sweet marmalade, a little bit of apples. Leafs and it's just not all that exciting or inviting really. Tastes much the same. Bitter medicinal marmalade and thin earthy hops. It has a mild oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. Not mine cup of IPA this, quickly forgotten. 09.04.2016

Flaske 330ml fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Drukket på Bergstua 22 Mai 16. Varm gylden. Filmskum. Uklar. Forsiktig mandarin-/aprikosaroma. Smaken også beskjeden. Litt plommer. Lett tørr ettersmak. Lett-drikkelig. Klumpsedimenter i siste kvelling. Mye bunnfall.

Bottle. It pours a huge, foamy off-white head over a clear, golden body. Piney, funky and citrusy nose with some pale malts in the far back. Bitter flavor with pine cones, resins and grass, and a funky, lightly yeasty touch. It’s dry and a bit heavy on the carbonation, with a medium body fullness. Lasting vegetal, grassy and funky finish. Probably a decent one this, but it’s lightly off, and not very interesting. 160514

330ml bottle, celebration beer, lot #0083, picked up at Eurospar Kræmer in Tromsø. A hazy amber coloured body, topped by a lasting, pearl white head leaving solid lacework on the glass. Ripe citrus and herbal hops on the nose. Fresh fruity taste of orange, peach and supported by a mild caramel touch. Mid-dry, bittersweet ending. Well balanced. Soft on the swallow. A pleasing celebration beer from my old home home (01.05.2016).

Lett tåkete brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter korn, syrlige epler, noe sitrus og vanilje. Frisk, syrligbitter smak, middels minus i fylde. Medium lang.
