12/6/2021. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours clear deep ruby brown with a small frothy white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruit, nut, touch of honey and liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium plus body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Rich and tasty, one of Mr Bees best.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Clear, chestnut colour with wonderful ruby shimmer and small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Floral and slightly fruity, hoppy and minimally toasty, malty aroma, notes of petals, a touch of red berries, whiffs of dark honey. Taste is minimally sweet, toasty malty, floral and minimally fruity hoppy, minimally diluted hints of dark honey, a touch of red berries, dark fruit, minimally metallic interludes. Quicksilver texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minmally dry, repellent palate, fine, soft carbonation. Well integrated, cautious hints of honey - pretty decent.
