Heritage Chevallier malt helps to create a complex mix of caramel, biscuit and marmalade flavours. Complemented by subtle berry and citrus hop aroma.

20/5/2021. Bottle courtesy of SHIG. Pours attractive clear dark amber brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, brown bread, dried fruit, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Hint of berry tart to finish. Quite fizzy. That aside, nice drop.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 06/03/21. Light chestnut brown tinged with a reddish glint and topped with a decent faded beige cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is dried berry fruits, dark malts, light spice, phenols, light musty oak tones. Taste comprises stewed fruits, light tannins, dried berry fruits, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent flavoursome affair.
