Hazy orange gold beer, small off white head. Airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, slightly thin, provide a modicum of sweetness. Hops bring ripe citrus with a strong floral streak that I would assume is Motueka, although I have not tasted that much floralness from it for some years. A trace of mellow lime on the back end. Some mild estery thing lurks about in the background, not too bothersome. Light finish. A pleasant enough affair. I've been keeping a close eye on Colchester since that stonking Sorachi beer they did a few months back. Yet to attain that quality again but I live in hope.

11/2/2022. Cask at the 12th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, floral, fruity. Medium sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Flavoursome.
