2/6/2022. Cask at the 35th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours almost clear dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is stewed, malty, mucky, twiggy, woody. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft carbonation. Touch on the rough side this one.

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Darker golden coloured ale with a slight soapy caramel aroma and taste.
