Keg at the little Martha taproom, Bristol, 06/10/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl then retains. Nose is chocolate biscuit, roast malts, charr, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises cocoa powder, mellow roast, charr, light spice, dates, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tasty stout.

On tap at Little Martha, Bristol 16/4/2023. Almost black in colour and opaque, with a tight, beige, head. Plain chocolate, toasty malts, a touch of liquorice and blue berry sweetness, before a toasty finish. Pleasant drinking.

6/4/2022. Tap at Little Martha Brewing, Bristol. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of liquorice, dark chocolate, roasted malt, black treacle, dark fruits, ash. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, too fizzy. Roasty bitter finish.

Keg at the taproom. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malts dominate, dry taste. Light body with moderate carbonation. Reasonable enough straight up stout
