The first release in a National Park series, the Cali Common (aka Steam Beer) has roots back to the 1800s and is one of the few American originals.Pouring amber with a bready malt character that gives way to light toast & caramel, and using the single hop Northern Brewer which adds a woody, earthy character. It's dry, crisp, and clean, with a lingering bitterness.

4/4/2022. Can bought at Independent Spirit, Bath. Pours almost clear deep amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is bready, malty, fruits, biscuit, caramel. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Bitterness develops. Started well but faded a bit.

Can from Cork of Cotham. Pours amber with a beige cap. Aroma: light toast, caramel, bready malts. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitterness, semi-dry, crisp, clean. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.
