Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2015, National Winter Ales Festival (2015), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Hop Monster Freak Show 9 - Simcoe ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, hoppy, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150213] 7-3-7-3-14

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. KEGS. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and pretty crisp from good fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts, little caramel. Very mild. Hops are slightly bitter and with a modest orange citrus and peel. Finishes crisp and semi dry. The very good condition and crispness make this pretty drinkable.
