11/10/2022. Can bought at Alice’s Alcove, Chelsea. Pours almost clear pale golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, wheaty, sulphur, citrus, orange, lime, light herb. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a tart edge. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Refreshing drop.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden amber with short-lived small white head. Subtle fairly pleasant aroma - dough with hints of sweet fruit. Medium body, well carbonated. Unusual taste, not unpleasant, but different - dough, nondescript fruitiness, some peppery spice that develops into a bitter finish. Ok, but odd.

Pint on tap at Bankstown Brewhouse. Clear amber beer with thin white head. Light carbonation. Very grainy nose, rye bread? Good body, smooth texture. Sweet malt taste with more rye in the finish. Nice Marzen.

From a 500ml bottle on 28/2/2015 (shared by Butz with thanks). pours a cloudy deep golden with a small head. Has a mild caramel malt nose. In the mouth, there’s a moderate amount of caramel and toffee with some modest bitterness finishing things off. Medium bodied and average carbonation. Unexciting but okay.
