Fancy an easy going pale ale? That’s exactly what this subtle blend of American hops is all about. The late Mosaic hop addition adds a fresh, fruity aroma.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a fresh, light, stone fruits, light citrus, light pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Nags Head, Reading, November 2023. Golden in colour, with plenty of grassy hop character, tangerines and blueberries, sweetish rich tea malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A very pale amber pour with a scattering of translucent head; leafy blackcurrant aroma; soft and soapy in the mouth with a fresh blackcurrant taste; and a tart, clean berry finish. Crisp, fresh and very tasty. Based on earlier reviews this seems better drunk close to home, it didn’t seem to enjoy a trip north of the border!
