Inspired by a wonderful Derby eccentric known affectionately as Dirty Bob. Fiercely independent, living life on his terms, often seen cycling the streets followed by his faithful dog. This beer honours his free spirit and pursuing a life he wished to live with no compromise.

This Irish Dry Stout is subtly complex and very dry, black as night, and smooth as velvet with a toast-crust finish.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 44th Peterborough Beer Festival. Everybody needs a dirty Bob said the lady as she served me this beer. Pours dark mahogany maroon brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is ashy, roasted malt, treacle, dark chocolate, molasses. Medium sweetness, moderate developing bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Decent beer, so she was probably right...
