Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford. At 6.0% dark ruby dark cola coloured. Thin tan head. Yep not for me too sweet too much lactose. Vanilla chocolate some liquorice. Yikes yes too milky for me. Only managed a third of a pint.

21/12/2023. Cask at The Ale House Chelmsford Christmas Beer Festival. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, mild roasted malt, caramel, biscuit. Fairly sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Nice.
