24-27/10/2023. From the wood at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is very fruity, earthy, chocolate, roasted malt, dried fruits, plum, woody edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Dark roasted tropical finish. Best of the from the wood beers tried at the festival.
