Cask-conditioned at the Swan, York 7/9/2023. Near black in colour, with reddish undertones and a moderately-sized, beige, head. Plain chocolate, dark fruits, a touch of caramel and some citrus character throughout. Unusual, and rather pleasant.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, roasty, somewhat light, chocolate, light citrus, fake sugar palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Skipton Beer Festival 2023. Extremely dark, although not quite black. It does feel like a Black IPA though as its tropical fruitiness dominates its taste and is prevalent in its aroma too. There's is some dark malt character available here.
