Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 20/12/24. Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white head. Nose is bitter orange, grass, pineapple, mandarin, melon, lychee. Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, dank chimes, pine needle, pineapple, light stone fruit nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come danko hop bitterness. Tidy enough DIPA if lacking in the advertised Nelson somewhat.

12th December 2024 Can. This version hopped with Citra, Cashmere and Nelson Sauvin. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, thin in the mouthfeel but has adequate creamy sweetness. Crisp sharp pine. Both bright citrus and bruised citrus and peel hop fruits ensue. A little hop spice. Modest tropical fruits. A little melon on the last gasp. Crispy finish. Good stuff, felt a bit thin but in the end, this is satisfyingly rich dipa.

Can from Beer Dad UK. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange sherbet, dried grass and creamy apricot. Flavour of orange peel and dried mango. Medium to full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Dank and heavily hopped. It’s a solid DIPA but the hop notes aren’t shining brightly.
