A rich, velvety stout inspired by the iconic chocolate orange. With flavours of dark cocoa and zesty orange, it combines creamy malt sweetness with a hint of bitterness, perfectly balancing sweet and tangy. Warning: it is not advised to ‘whack and unwrap’ this product. Might we suggest a simple ‘clink and drink’?

Keg at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white/beige head on top. Sweet, orange, milk chocolate all the way. Pleasant enough.

Keg at MS High Wycombe, 13/12/24. Black topped with a khaki head. Nose is mellow roast, cocoa powder, orange rind, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises cocoa powder, orange creme, toffee, brown sugar dusting, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. It's okay for what it is ... orange noted but not OTT ... orange just doesn't work in dark beers for me!
