Keg at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium off white/beige head on top. Sweet, orange, milk chocolate all the way. Pleasant enough.

Keg at MS High Wycombe, 13/12/24. Black topped with a khaki head. Nose is mellow roast, cocoa powder, orange rind, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises cocoa powder, orange creme, toffee, brown sugar dusting, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. It's okay for what it is ... orange noted but not OTT ... orange just doesn't work in dark beers for me!

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, milk chocolate, bitter chocolate, mellow orange oils, cocoa. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, fine carbonation,. Bit of a gimmick.
