Warming winter spice and fruity aromas finely balance an explosion of big- hitting hops. The dehusked dark malt character contributes to a magnificent roasted black appearance.

(Cask at Tapping the Admiral, Kentish Town, London, 16 Nov 2023) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of chocolate, citrus and dried fruit. Malty, hoppy taste with dark bread, chocolate, coffee, citrus, grapefruit and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
