This American IPA uses some of our favorite classic NW hops in the boil and copious amounts of Azacca and Simcoe for late hopping. These varieties drive wonderfully hoppy notes of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, tangerine, stone fruit and pine into the flavor and aroma. A small percentage of the malt bill uses rye malt as a supporting role to help create a biscuity malt balance and a smooth body. This approachable and delicious West Coast IPA appeals to a wide variety of drinkers.

12oz pour at the brewery on their patio. Pours a cloudy, bright orange with some thin, lacing white head. Nose is very pithy, orange and grapefruit, lots of bread dough, wet malt, yeast, some grass. Just lots of bread. Flavor is malty, honey, toast with butter, orange, tangerine, jammy, a little stevia. Full, sticky, bitter finish. A decent start, but feels a little under attenuated. Can’t help but wonder why this had to be 7.2% instead of 6.2 or 5.2.
