Unser Intercontinental India Pale Ale vereint Hopfensorten von drei Kontinenten. Europa, wo der Bierstil India Pale Ale im 18 Jhd. als besonders haltbares, seefahrttaugliches Bier entstanden ist. Dann Amerika, das vor einigen Jahren das IPA neu entdeckte und damit eine Welle durch die ganze Bierwelt geschickt hat und Ozeanien, wo das spezielle Terroir ganz besondere Geschmacksrichtungen im Hopfen erzeugt. Herausgekommen ist ein helles IPA mit moderatem Alkoholgehalt, das eine schöne Balance zwischen fruchtigen und harzigen Noten des Hopfens bildet. Ein Bier, bei dem jeder Schluck Lust auf den nächsten macht. Cheers!

0,44 boks fra Einars importkoffert, delt med ham mens vi lager middag 1. juledag: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Lys malt, grapefrukt, litt furunål og høy. Ganske slank maltkropp. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen. Greit nok, og et nytt bryggeri for meg.

Can on the 1533 Munich-Innsbruck, picked up from World Of Beers Zurich HBF, 07/10/2025.
Clear golden topped with a just off white head that clears to the edge.
Nose is orange zest, grass, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises orange zest, hint of grapefruit, melon, light breads.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest hop bitterness.
Drinkable but on the bland side of things ... file under pedestrian.

originally tasted in Feb 2024 Opalescent pale yellow colour, medium sized snow-white head; aroma and taste of orange peel oils/juice, grapefruity, pine resiny, spicy-horseradish-like, and some biscuity notes; good one (initial score: 6/7/8/8/7.5 - overall: 7.4); re-tasted in Aug 2025: much worse than it was, it is now a watery nothing rather than an IPA - I am seriously disappointed - my initial score changed, accordingly (and I am still taking into account the previous experience, not only this current one...it is just HORRIBLE now...) :(
