Bottled (from Alko). Amber colour, mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is rye, alcohol, some toffee and mild berries to it. Flavour is rather sweet rye along with toffee and some nice hops to it as well. Nice rye and fruits in the aftertaste, with also the alcohol giving a nice sweet punch to it. Good sipper.

330ml bottle from Alko. Pours dark reddish brown with a tiny white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, toffee, rye, fudge and hops. Taste is sweet, syrupy and malty with some caramel, toffee, rye, fudge and grassy hops. Finish is malty, hoppy and sweetish with some rye bread, toffee and caramel. Quite sweet and heavy barley wine.

33cl bottle from trade with rosenbergh, many thanks Jan! Pours almost clear orange brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of strong malt, toasted dark malt, riped fruits. Taste of strong malt, pine, dark riped fruits, wood, alcohol.

Mild smell of tar. Muddy copper colour, creamy orange head. Aroma of rye, alcohol, tar. Very bitter, very viscous. Flat carbon. Very heavy body.

Bottle at THT thanks to Brandman for the trade. Slight hazy deep reddish brown with small but lasting beige head. Quite some hops up front, spicy rye, sweet caramel and toffee, grassy, light lime, chicory, rye bread. Nice fruity hoppy spicy rye strong ale. Over medium sweet with medium bitterness. Almost full bodied. Nice stuff.

(Keg at Ølhus København, 20160212) The beer poured dark reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, ripe banana, molassess and sweet rye bread. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were molasses, malts, sweetness, sweet rye bread and bitterness. Aftertaste had rye, malts and bitterness. Not bad very malty brew.
