Flight at Half Door Brewing, San Diego, CA, USA. Pours pale gold, transparent. Aroma is hoppy, piney. Body is a little thicker than usual, with average carbonation. Taste is fairly bitter. Final is also fairly long and still bitter.

Opalescent pale golden colour, moderate sized creamy ivory-like white head; aroma of grape peel, grapefruity, marmalade, some resiny and biscuity notes; hop-dominant taste with resiny notes as can be felt in the aroma and some pear; good IPA

On tap at Half Door, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is subdued, with piney hops, some resins, and bready malt. Flavour is nicely bitter, with piney hops, resins, and dry biscuity malt. Bitter, piney and dry. Not a huge amount of hop flavour but it's dry and bitter on the finish, which is pleasing. Good.

Dull gold, slight haze, no head. Earthy hops have some weedy, lemony notes. Malts are heading in a gloppy direction. They’re good still but borderline for me.
