On tap at Whitey’s. Pours a very dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of chalky dark grains with light pine, light coffee and light roasted malts supported. Flavor is similar with the chalky dark grains, earth coffee, pine and a hint of roasted malts.

Full pour at Summit. Black beer. Moderately hopped, and predominately a dry character. Some coffee grounds, bitter roasted malt flavor.

Pours a dark, cola-brown, with good-sized, lasting tawney head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and hops. Flavor has chocolate, roasted grain, some citrus-hops and a lot of hop-pine/spruce bite. Very nice black IPA.
