Deep but distinctively sanguine brown body, thin cream to tan head. Sharp raspberry aroma with a chocolate backdrop. Body less intense than the aroma hinted, with the neutral chocolate cake base mollifying the raspberry intensity. Nonetheless, the raspberry is ample long into the finish. Nice stuff. Thanks James G!

Pint can from Woodman's Janesville, 2/9/21. Black, large brown head, good retention. Aroma of dark chocolate, raspberry. Taste is tart and sweet berry, dark chocolate, chocolate liqeur. Medium bodied, a bit thin for the style. Booze present but well hidden. Very nice.

Very impressed by this, the first beer I’ve tried by Lupulin. Pours a darkish black, with just a touch of red. Head is reddish-tan. Aroma is marked by raspberry, chocolate, coffee, and roasted grain. Flavor is a nice mix of raspberry, chocolate, coffee, some leather, malt sweetness, and roasted grain. Nothing is overdone, the fruit isn’t sweet to the point of cloying. Everything is just right and this is a very tasty porter.

Bottle shared by Tom, thanks! Pours black with a tan head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a nice raspberry note with a bit of dark grains and some earthy roasted malts. Flavor has earthy chocolate and earthy roasted malts with a growing raspberry note.

Winterfest 2016. I was not sure what type of beer I was drinking. Light palate for a porter. I expected it to be sweet, based on the name alone. Dark brown color. Some raspberry flavor, and lightly roasted malt for balance. I thought this would be sweet, thick, and heavy and it was not any of those things, but i did like the raspberry flavor.
