Sampled from a bottle at Grillfest. Light copper color. Moderate bitter flavor but surprisingly a little hop burn. some sugar, pineapple, and light citrus. Alcohol is present on the plate.

Minnesota Trip Beer #84. Keg a the Happy Gnome, 5/9/16. Hazy orange, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tropical fruit, lime, pale malt. The taste is citrus, lemongrass, pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, well balanced.

Can thanks to Kyle! Pours a clear orange with a copper hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma combines earthy tropical fruit and lightly sweet citrus with some light grains backing. Flavor has more bitter citrus with a touch of grapefruit and some earthy tropical fruits supporting.

Really good double IPA. Pours a clear golden-copper, with mid-sized creamy white head. Aroma is dank and floral, with loads of tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor mirrors this, with a cat-box dankness, mango, peach, grapefruit, piney hops, and some malt sweetness for balance. Doesn’t taste boozy, despite the alcohol content. Very drinkable and flavorful IPA. This is one of the best Minnesota-made IPAs/DIPAs I’ve tasted!
