Tap at Fatheads. Awesome aroma. Very light and toasty, almost a UK feel. Biscuity, watery malt. Massive resinous tropical aroma. The hops are great but sort of has a Ringwood feel I don’t enjoy. OK.

On tap at Fat Head's Portland, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of mineraly dry biscuity malt and some floral hops. Flavour reveals moderate intensity floral hops, and lots of mineraly biscuity malt. Well-balanced and clean, just a bit too mineraly. Decent.

Sample from cask at the Big Tap In on 05/31/2014. Pale orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus, melon and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at Bodega. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and a bit of malt. Light-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has zesty citrus and malt notes. The finish is hoppy with a lingering orange rind aftertaste. Overall this is a tasty lower-ABV IPA. I have generally been a fan of this trend.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/7/2014. Pours sightly hazy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops notes with a fair amount of malt balance; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of grassy/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is an awesome session IPA! All around great complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops with moderate malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
