Cask at Merton Beer Festival Saturday 28th February 2015. This beer was so, so lively from first pour until last. The first beer to run out it was probably popular because it was a very easy drinking drop that wasn’t assertively hoppy. It looked lovely on the pour, a little snowstorm of effervescence slowly settled to show a gold/amber beer, good clarity. In the mouth it was a bit too sweet, malty as opposed to hoppy.
