0,33 l bottle from Slijterij Bij Thijs, Vlagtwedde. Now listed with 11 % abv. Nice dark copper in the glass, no real head. Sweet malty aroma, alcholic fruity. Taste starts also sweet malty, parfumed, dried fruits, sugar and nuts, increasing dry malt with strong alcoholic bitterness. Better than expected.

Fles op vakantie gekocht, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een licht troebel amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van alcohol, drop en fruit. De smaak is vol, warm, kruidig met tonen van drop en alcohol.

Fles 33cl thuis. Vol en warm, zoet, fruitig, rood fruit, alcohol, kruidig, laurier, bittertonen, bruine suiker, caramel, zepig. Niet helemaal in balans. (9-10-2019).

bottle from Robert Speckman, thanks. pours ruby red with a light brown head. aroma of malts, grain, caramel, toffee, plastic. Taste of brown sugar, granular, alcohol, medium bitterness, a sharp touch, iron, boiled veggies, toffee, peach, plastic, medium sweet, a bit of a hobby brew.

Bottle @ Winterbierfestival Gouda 2018. Dark red brown color. Off white head. Aroma's: sweet, malty, peardrops. Flavor is heavy sweet, pear. Strong alcohol feel. Quite full bodied. Long finish. Sweet, but quite enjoyable.

Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Clear amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma of light fruits, veggies, light citrus, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Clear amber with small off white head. Strong sweet malts and toffee, light peach, alcohol, soft herbs, bitter grassy stuff with dusty grains and dried greens. Quite sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Not really my think but not bad.

Sampled from bottle at Goud Winterbier 2018. Clear amber with cream head. Sweet malt, green apples, plastic funk, rye bread. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body and low carbonation.
