Cask: hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 19th Jan 15. Mahogany body with a white, lasting head. All about the malts, toffee and caramel notes in both the nose and taste with a spiciness that counters the malty sweetness. Mild sourness in the finish. Nice blend actually, good wintery feel to the brew.
