God, the nose on this thing. Not sure why it's so unbelievably fragrant, but waves of citrus and tropical fruit are wafting from the glass. Strong stuff. Tastewise, doesn't quite live up to the initial impression, offering up grapefruit and papaya and pineapple, a little bubblegum, a little earth, and a strong pine bitterness laced with dank on the back end. All good, sure, but the various notes never quite coalesce into a classic IPA. Still, not a bad pint in the slightest.
