Dark brown almost black with a small head. Aroma is hoppy, coffee, chocolate, and dark roasted drains. Taste is also hoppy, coffee, chocolate, and dark roasted grains. Way too hoppy for a good stout.

These guys do a heap of saisons but I could only get ahold of this. Super good stout, the best lower-ABV one Iβve had in awhile. Some similarity with a black IPA, as the hops are full-on, aromatic, piney citrus goodness, though itβs definitely a stout.

Very good stout, hoppy enough to qualify as a black IPA, with a massive amount of citrus and pine offsetting the unsweetened chocolate, java, and char. Reaches an interesting balance between veins of deep roast and fruity brightness; mild notes of berry, coffee cherry, and toasted pumpernickel sit underneath. Finishes dry, with alternating waves of citrus zest and blackened malt. Delicious.
