On tap at Southern Prohibition, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of coffee, light roast, and dry bready malt. Flavour is dry, with lots of coffee, light roast, and dry bready malt. Nice coffee character to this. The higher ABV isn't felt at all. Good stuff.

Good coffee porter, with healthy amounts of semisweet chocolate, coffee cherry, nuts, dark fruit, espresso, and roast. Finishes somewhat fruity--the lager yeast becomes apparent in the fade--with a lingering char bitterness. Nice pint.

Taster at Liquor Express. Pours black, with a small, fine, beige head. The aroma is espresso, dark chocolate, black bread, caramel, and pine. Sweet and slick, with a nice touch of bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, chewy palate. This is an easy and flavorful porter.
