Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is sweet banana, spicy yeast, clove, malt, candied fruit, mild hoppy finish. Flavour is medium sweet with a light to moderate bitterness. Body is medium. I would have liked this to be a little hoppier. *** 2nd time, from draft at Brothers In Law Taphouse, Utrecht. A bit better than the first time.

Bottle that I picked up from the Bier Paradijs, Maasen, Utrecht Netherlands, consumed at home Saturday 30th October 2021 listening to Mount Palomar - The Perils of Youth. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Lacking a fresh, zingy hoppiness on the nose, it's a less than great start. Taste is a little better, fruity but a bit dull and needs some spark, there is a little bit of bubble gum, it's not doing it for me.

Very hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, herbs, banana and light fruity hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

Bottle at home. Found at Coop, Pr. Hendrikstr. Murky pale dark golden drab with fluffy white head. Sweet grains, doughy wheat, some citrus fruit peel, clove, dead yeasties, weird vegetal/algae-like note. Quite sweet and moderate bitter, full body, unfiltered and buttery creamy feel. 330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty, yeasty fruity and grassy hoppy aroma, notes of banana, pear, apple, honey, baked apple, hints of yellow stone fruit, clove overtones. Taste is moderately dry, slightly bitter, grassy and fruity hoppy, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity and minimally dusty, yeasty spicy, hints of yellow stone fruit, some banana, lots of clove, a mineral touch, espeacially in the finish. Light body, slightly watery. So-so.

Cloudy medium golden colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, banana, cloves, some coriander. Taste medium sweet, light bitterness and even lighter acidity, wheat, yeast, spicy notes. Aftertaste sweet but with a bit more bitterness and acdity, yeast, spicy touch. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, refreshing. not completely balanced, nice though.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop Culemborg. Hazy yellow with a white head. Banana and hop aroma. Sweet creamy wheat taste. Nice hopfenweisse for sure.
