Tap. Pours clear chestnut with a tiny tan head and no lacing. Aroma is caramel and roasted malts. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet, a bit of brown sugar. No real bitterness. Medium body, very little carbonation. Taste is pretty good, but the lack of carbonation hurt the appearance and palate scores.

Draft. A hazy chestnut-brown beer with thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and toffee as well as lighter notes of butterscotch and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of roasted malt and nuts. The body is light. Not really true to style - with the roasted malt and not enough nut flavor.

On tap. Slightly hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and nuts. Medium-bodied, a little low in carbonation, roasted malts and a little nuts and brown sugar. Absolutely no bitterness. 090709

Draft. Bootlegger’s Brown. Ruby-brown color with a nice beige head. Malty aroma. Chocolate malt flavor with some sort of toasted cheerios. Biscuit flavors linger. Just a touch of bitterness.
