Big props to Residente for choosing a tripel for his beer. My opinion of him only rises... Much better than a J Balvin lager to be sure. Florals and some attic dust. Pretty dark amber pour for a tripel, and the aroma has some dubbel elements like nimble prop says. Some booze. Sweet finish, a little coriander. Bottle.

Bottle from 24 market enjoyed in a paper cup in the hotel. Mostly clear dark gold in color with a decent sized off white head that persists. Holy fruitiness with a spicy Belgian twist. Sweet like a Belgian strong ale instead of a tripel but really tasty.

Weird 12oz slim can. Looks like an energy drink. Fairly dark amber with some lacey white head. Nose has malt and candy and caramel, esters, some chewed bubblegum. Flavor has raisins and candy and some bubblegum and yeast. This really straddles dubbel and tripel. Full bodied, sweet finish. Strange. Heavy carb now that I've let it sit.
