Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head that stays afloat for a long time and leaves a small lace on the sides, near the top. Aroma of super pungent strawberries, lactose and a good hit of bright hops - citrusey and very nice! Medium to Full-bodied; Strong earthy notes with a lot of depth on the malt side, but right behind is the very lactosey sweetness and rich body, but the hops and bitterness comes right behind and stays for a while and of course the fruits showing the raspberries and strawberries right behind. Aftertaste shows some pungency from alcohol and bitterness with a bite from the malts first and then the hops, but the strawberries, sweetness and hops are all pungent as well. Overall, a nice and robust IPA-ish beer that has a lot of fruits and lactose, but the malt notes and pungency here are the strongest aspects, once you get past the strawberries. This one is quite nice and showing a lot of flavours, especially for the style, a nice beer from this brewery! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's in Virginia Beach (VA Beach Boulevard), Virginia on 13-June-2021 for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Columbia, Maryland on 19-July-2021.
