Die Komposition aus 3 verschiedenen Malzsorten ergibt eine aromatische Geschmasvielfalt. Durch die leichte Hopfennote abgerundet, überzeugt unser obergäriges, unfiltriertes Bockbiermit seinen wuchtigen Körper sowie Noten von Feige, Banane und Honig.
1838 berichtete die kurfürstliche Polizei-Komimission über unser Weißbier von ganz vorzüglicher Beschaffenheit: "Es steht dem der Prüfung mit unterworfenen bairischen Weißbieren völlig gleich. Es ist das Beste aller der Prüfung unterworfen gewesenen Ordinärbiere." Diesem Anspruch sind wir heute noch verpflichtet.

Pours hazy dark gold from the bottle. Looks like unfiltered apple juice. No lasting head. Aroma is Weizen malt, some yeast, banana, apple. Taste is sweet and multi-layered with hints of rich malt, sour apple and clove. Warming alcohol presence at the finish. Low carbonation, dry, low bitterness, medium bodied. All in all decent stuff if you like Weizen bocks.

Flasche 0,33l: Ocker, sehr kräftige Trübung, kräftiger fester feinporiger Schaum; schöne Süße in der Nase, cremig, malzig, kräftige Bananenaromen, deutliche Hefenoten; im Körper schöne Süße, leichte Würze, deutliche Hefenoten, sehr cremig, kräftige Kohlensäure, fruchtige Noten, Bananen, etwas Hopfen, angenehme fruchtige Bitterkeit; angenehmer Nachgang mit mehr Hefearomen

Bottled 330ml. -Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, lively carbonation, light banana in the nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, light banana, notes of honey and touch of alcohol with mild spices in rather sweet finish. Not bad.

Pours cloudy yellow, thick yellow head, minimal lacing. Lemony banana flavor, apricots as well, not nearly as bready as the nose.

Small white head, thick and lasting. Murky honey taste, medium, lasting creamy white head. Creamy, milky aroma, banana and dried figs, honey. Pleasant, but not perfect. Soft caramelly taste, banana, dry finish, lactic. Clean and on a drier side for a Weizenbock - still creamy though. Not bad at all, just not entirely my style (for my favorite style).

Bottle 90/150. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong, intense malty-yeasty, light alcoholic. Light fruity notes of apricot. Quite okay but not worth 10 euro a bottle.
