Super clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish tan head with a lot of small bubbles rising from the bottom, all leaving a small lace on the top. Aroma of light grassy and herbal hops with a big hit of fresh cut grass and some light grapefruit and piney notes with a touch of malts and a subtle dose of alcohol noticeable in the nose. Light-bodied; Sharp astringent metallic and grainy flavour at first with a big hit of grass and pine following right behind with a touch of flowers and subtle honey and a dash of grains as well, but not much else going on, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows a pretty good balance of malt and hops with a deep resinous bite, some fresh-cut grass and a very astringent and metallic note that ends fairly strongly. Overall, a decent enough IPA that shows more of an English Pale with less bitterness from the alpha acids [of the hops] and more from the malts and metallic flavour, but still nice to try given that I've never seen this one before. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Bend, Oregon on 29-March-2021 for US$1,59 sampled in my hotel room here in Crescent City, California on 30-March-2021.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A soft light citrus nose. Perfume, some toast, earthy base, light sticky citrus in the finish. Clean. Flavorful. Solid.
