Gravity cask from the Rutland CAMRA Beer Festival, June 2023, Rutland County Museum, Oakham. Chestnut brown and clear with the tiniest smattering of off-white head. Light malty nose, a little touch of stone fruit. The fruitiness is a lot more prominent in the taste with the initial sweetness pushed down by an intense bitterness. Cherry juice and medical hop in the aftertaste. Very good.

Cask at the NWAF, Derby ’14. Amber pour with a white head. Sulphury nose. Bit of earth and caramel in there. Odd. Very malt laden flavour, some fruit in there. Not too bad.
