From tap at Bier Xperience Steenwijk 2016. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, chocolate, some roast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and above moderate roasty bitter. Nice strong caramel and chocolate malt aroma, a bit roasty and pleasantly bitter. Good Stout.

august 2012 Unlabeled bottle, straight from the brewery. Deep dark brown color. Apple and roast in the aroma. Relatively low on carbon. Soft bready roast flavor with licorice, raisin, apple and tart citrus notes, especially as the beer warms up. Medium bodied. Simple and straightforward stout, more malty as roasty. Bottle, tasted March 2014, deep dark brown color. Roast, ash and cream in the aroma. Malty sweetish, salty flavor. Roast. Hint of licorice. Nice one.

Bottle @ Winterbierfestival Gouda 2018. Almost black color. Aroma's: peardrops, roasty. Retronasal it's sweet. Flavor is sweet, roasted. Medium bodied. Light roast and light bitterness in the finish.

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of herbs, chocolate, caramel and malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.
