Draft. Nitro. Black beer with a tan nitro head. Dark chocolate aroma. Dark chocolate flavor. Medium bodied. Dark chocolate and light malt linger.

Tap at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Jose. Massive chocolate fudge. Bittersweet chocolate in the finish. Deep, dark brown with a massive brown, chunky head. This beer has so much chocolate. Like a dessert. This was a perfect night cap to celebrate the US 6-0 victory over Honduras.

On tap in Berkeley. It pours a dark brown color with a creamy light tan head. The aroma has huge cocoa powder and dry brownie mix. Big vanilla too. The flavor is the same with brownie batter, cocoa powder and vanilla. Hint of smoke near the finish. Sweet and dessert-like, but not all that full bodied or complex. Ok in the end.
